This policy explains how AegeanBot handles information when you use aegeanbot.com, the AegeanBot experience in ChatGPT, or the AegeanBot Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration.

Information we process

• Travel-search details you choose to provide, such as destination, dates, party size, budget and accommodation preferences.
• Technical and service data needed to operate and secure the service, including request timing, tool usage, error and rate-limit events.
• Contact, reservation or payment-related information only when you deliberately use a booking, verified-reservation or concierge workflow.

Public stay search through the AegeanBot MCP integration does not require an AegeanBot account or API key. Private reservation tools require scoped authentication and separate guest verification.

How we use information

We use information to return relevant stays, property facts, policies, availability and prices; provide booking and concierge workflows you request; prevent abuse; diagnose failures; and improve service quality.

Service providers and sharing

We may use hosting, database, analytics, communications, booking and payment providers to deliver the service. When you use AegeanBot inside ChatGPT, your prompts and tool results are also processed by OpenAI under your OpenAI account and applicable OpenAI terms. We do not sell personal information.

Reservation privacy

AegeanBot does not treat an MCP or API key as proof that someone owns a reservation. Verified-reservation tools require two matching booking factors and return a limited summary. Sensitive arrival details such as door codes and exact access instructions are not available through the public integration.

Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal and accounting duties, resolve disputes and protect the platform. We use access controls, scoped credentials, rate limits and transport encryption, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can avoid providing personal information when using public search. For access, correction or deletion questions, contact info@aegeanbot.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Children and changes

AegeanBot is not intended for children under 18 acting without a parent or guardian. We may update this policy as the service changes; the date above identifies the current version.
